Yes, but say so in the prompt: “hair let down, then tossed over one shoulder”. The model follows a clear instruction better than an assumption about what the hair does.
Why does the hair look stiff or melt into the background?
Usually the light is flat, or dark hair sits against a dark room. Add a rim light, a neon edge or a highlight sweep in the prompt, and keep the camera steady so the strands are not lost in blur.
Does the flip need a fan or a wind machine?
No. Describe the source of motion: a turn of the head, a gust on a rooftop or a flick in a mirror. The model adds the movement; you do not need a real set.
How many flips fit in one clip?
One clear flip per five seconds works well. A second flip right after the first can blur it, so for a longer clip keep one action per beat and let the settle breathe.
