One beam does the directing
A spotlight is the simplest lighting setup on a stage or a dance floor, and one of the most dramatic. Everything outside the circle falls away. Because the frame is almost empty, the viewer reads every small move: a hand lifting, a head turning, a breath that shows in the cold of the beam.
The beam needs a source, and the prompt should say where it comes from: a follow spot high above, a stage light in front, or a hard rim behind the head. Then say what the light does. Check these before the render:
- Name the light source first: follow spot, stage light or rim
- Say whether the beam snaps on, follows the person or stays fixed
- Keep the room black around the beam, with no clutter in frame
- One slow movement inside the light, such as a tilt or a lift of the chin
- Eyes on the lens for the last second, so the ending lands

Yes. Say the spotlight follows the subject and keep the subject centered. A beam that tracks a moving person usually looks smooth; a beam that moves on its own can drift.
Why does my face go dark?
Usually the surround is too bright or the beam is too narrow for the head. Widen the beam slightly and add a soft warm fill in the prompt.
Do I need a stage photo?

Can the beam be colored?
